Rhetoric (High) School
College Preparatory with Honors Classes Available
Ninth through Twelfth Grade
The SGCA high school program exists to cultivate wisdom and virtue in its students in order for them to become leaders and light bearers. We encourage students to live out a Biblical worldview. By means of the liberal arts of dialectic and rhetoric, we prepare students to think well, reason well, and persuade convincingly for the glory of God.
Students shift to using knowledge and the skill of argument to write and speak effectively.
Our Key Focus Points
Art of Expression
Students learn to express themselves with fluency, grace, elegance, and persuasiveness.
Develop the ability to successfully speak as a matter of skill and practice.

Developing the Whole Student
At SGCA we are developing the whole student, this included virtue formation, leadership skills, exploration of new ideas, science, math, and more.

Students will receive mentoring, leadership training, service hours/opportunities, mentoring younger students, leading peers in virtue, special opportunities and socials, and encouragement throughout the school year from their Advisor. We call these special leaders our Senatores Solae Gratiae!
Students are nominated in these areas:
1. Students must remain in good academic standing, with a B+ average or higher, to remain Senators.
2. Students should demonstrate a high standard of behavior on and off campus, refraining from getting into any situations requiring documented disciplinary action.
3. Each Senator serves throughout the community daily, from greeting younger students as they come in from carpool to serving as judges for the Science Fair! Senatores are given plenty of opportunities to be leaders per semester.
