Building a foundation of organized knowledge…
Upper Elementary
Fourth through Sixth Grade
SGCA begins building on the foundations of facts the children have already learned. We mentor them into building a foundation of organized knowledge around arithmetic, literature, writing, history, science and the arts. The children will develop their ability to listen, remember, and respond.

Testimonials
What our families write about us touches our hearts and propels us forward. Here are some of the things that they are saying:
…The amazing academic mentors have been incredibly loving, appropriately challenging, and organized. They are accessible, encouraging, and understanding…
Words cannot express our appreciation for all the ways SGCA has supported and accommodated our family.
Our daughter has attended Sola Gratia Classical Academy this past year. She’s in 10th grade and it was her first experience with a classroom setting since we have always homeschooled.
Here are a few things I really like about the school.
* Meets only 3 days a week (K-8 meet twice a week)
* Small class size
* Christian based and focused
* Reasonable tuition compared to most private schools
* No electronics policy during school
* Classes have been appropriately challenging, preparing our daughter for college
* Uniforms are worn so we don’t have to fight over clothing
* Good online interface so we can see all the assignments, grades, etc
* Parents don’t have to regularly volunteer at the school like most co-ops
If you are still wanting some of the benefits of homeschooling but think your child would benefit from some structured classroom learning from others I’d recommend you check it out.
